Coffee Gaps & PHH Training
At our core, we believe that knowledge is key and training our farmers on best practices is paramount to the overall coffee industry in Uganda. Through COCEWEFA coffee farmers are trained on the good agricultural practices which includes fertilizer application, pruning, mulching, desuckering, stumping.
Gaps is the concept of producing, handling, transporting and storing agricultural commodities so that they are safe and to make production sustainable. Good Agricultural Practices(GAP) are practices that address environmental, economic and social sustainability for farm processes and result in safe and quality food and non food agricultural products.
GAPS increase farmers knowledge and action in coffee cultivation.
