Farmer profiling involves collecting farmer personal data and the details of their farm. This is done to make sure farmers comply with EUDR ( European deforestation Regulation).  JKCC Representatives or Field officers carried out awareness campaigns of the activity taking place in communities of kasese (Ibanda kyanya Town council, Nyambuku, kiharara, kibirizi, kibisire, Burindiguru, Maliba, Kyanya, Kasanzi, murambi 1, Bugoye sub county)

Training on good agronomic practices (These included pruning, stamping and water conservation, mulching, fertilizer application, post-harvest handling of coffee).

Training on the good markets (These included fair trade, rain forest alliance, organic coffee market, and conventional. This is to help farmers to sell their coffee at a high price).

Pest and disease management (These included use of organic pesticide and the use of cultural methods.)

Thousands of farmers were profiled and registered with COCEWEFA the JKCC umbrella which works hand in hand with farmers to meet their objectives.

Farmers are now adapting the good agronomic practices of growing coffee. We believe now farmers can get access to market information easily through reaching out to JKCC .
